First and foremost, we are incredibly grateful to the community for their continued support of our project, Simply Shenandoah, that we’re developing on 550 acres in Star Tannery, VA.
As many of you know, we received our special use permit from the Board of Supervisors at the end of June. Since that time, we’d made a great deal of progress on several fronts.
First, Michael Evans, has joined our team at Wellmore Partners in the capacity of Chairman and General Partner. He has over twenty years of global hospitality development working at COO and SVP roles for companies like MGM Resorts and Marriott International.

Second, we are in the process of building a world class design and consulting team. The team will include architects, landscape architects, civil and MEP engineers, spa and food consultants, and environmental development specialists. In September, we plan on holding a two day intensive design session onsite at the Star in the Valley Winery facility (which is directly across from our property over Little North Mountain).
Finally, we are continuing to successfully raise funds to support this exciting project, which will bring more than 130 full and part-time jobs to the area. We are not finished, but progress is solid.
