A WELLNESS AND NATURE RESORT
"If you drive to the Shenandoah Valley, you'll get some appreciation for the scale and beauty of the outdoors. When you walk into it, you see it in a completely different way...you discover it in a much slower, more majestic sort of way."
- Bill Bryson

RESTORATION & REGENERATION
Regenerative development goes beyond sustainability by looking at living systems and how we fit into a larger picture. Fully committed to the region's indigenous ecology, Simply Shenandoah will restore the glorious Chestnut-Oak-Hickory complex using a lot of "TLC" in addition to advanced techniques like biochar, burning, bioswales, zero waste, carbon sequestration, etc.
The resort property spreads out over 550 acres of pristine forest in the famous Shenandoah Valley and is highly accessible by car from Dulles International Airport and downtown Washington DC. Located in Star Tannery, VA, the resort offers guests an opportunity to embrace a slower way of life in a rural area steeped in rich history.
